James Tran is the CEO of Loanoble and leads all enterprise operations with full responsibility for bottom-line P/L and strategic direction of the company, including long range planning, financial product offerings, loan partnership management, and financing solutions. He is an experienced investor and a serial entrepreneur, with expertise in real estate development, property management, and commercial loans. After serving in the US Army, Mr. Tran started investing in real estate and eventually amassed a large portfolio of commercial properties through syndications, developments, and partnerships in a wide variety of real estate asset classes, including multifamily apartments, self-storages, RV parks, and Marina Boat Slip rentals.
Prior to spearheading Loanoble, Mr. Tran was an accomplished executive for one of the Big Four technology consulting firms where he advised Fortune 500 CFOs to implement strategic fintech transformation, including robust financial planning, cash management optimization, and accounting operational flow redesigning.
Mr. Tran earned his bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University in College Station and is a proud member of its Corps of Cadets.
Mr. Tran lives in Texas where he and his wife of 11 years raise their children. As a former refugee from Vietnam after the war, Mr. Tran gives back to this great nation by volunteering his time in the community to serve on several board of directors for non-profit organizations, including The Refugee Service Alliances. Mr. Tran also dedicates his weekends to teaching Bible Classes to first graders, and he is a fanatical Boy Scouts (Cub Scouts) Troop Leader. In his personal time, Mr. Tran enjoys working out and building this sprinter van conversion for the ultimate outdoors vacation camping adventure.
